Terms of Service
The rules for using Cloche in your business: your account, your menu content, billing, the free trial and liability.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between Aho Media Solutions & Consultancy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14776234, registered office: Office 4, 02 Clockwise, London N22 7DE, United Kingdom, email: hello@clochemenu.com, phone: +44 7400 734583) ("Cloche", "we") and the business that creates an account at clochemenu.com ("you").
Cloche provides QR and NFC digital menus, an admin panel and related features (translations, printable price lists, table QR cards, call-the-waiter, guest feedback, statistics, TV screen and more) on a subscription basis. The service is for businesses only; you use it in the course of your trade.
2. Your account
- Keep your sign-up details accurate and up to date.
- Don't share your password; invite your team from the panel so each person has their own login.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you notice unauthorised access.
- Our team can open your panel for set-up or support only while you allow it (support access on the Team & plan page).
3. Trial, plans and payment
- Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. No card is needed for the trial.
- Plans and prices are published on our website. Prices are per venue, billed yearly and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- A subscription runs for one year from payment. We'll email you at least 30 days before renewal or any price change.
- If payment fails or your subscription ends, your menu stays online for 14 more days. After that it goes offline; your data is kept and the menu comes back as soon as you renew.
4. Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid period, we refund the full amount. After that your subscription continues until the end of the paid year and we don't refund the remaining time.
5. Your content
Everything you add — dishes, prices, photos, logo, allergen and calorie information — stays yours, and you are responsible for its accuracy. You allow us to use it only to provide the service (publishing, translating and printing your menu).
- Allergen information must reflect your actual recipes, and you remain responsible for allergen information under UK food law (including Natasha's Law where it applies) and for briefing your staff.
- AI translations, menu imports, calorie estimates and illustrative images are aids: check them before publishing. Calories are shown as approximate.
- Only upload photos, logos or text you have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Cloche for unlawful or misleading content, try to break or overload the system, or resell your account without our permission. We may suspend accounts that do, with notice where possible.
7. Availability and changes
We take reasonable care to keep menus online and we monitor them continuously. Short interruptions caused by hosting, networks or third-party services can still happen. We may improve or change features, but we won't take away a core feature of the plan you paid for during the paid period.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss caused by inaccurate content you entered, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Data protection
We are the controller of your account data. For guest data collected through your menu (for example feedback), you are the controller and we act as your processor, processing it only on your instructions to provide the service. Our Privacy Notice explains the details.
10. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. On request we'll export your menu as a spreadsheet. We delete your data within 90 days of closure, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Contact us at hello@clochemenu.com.
