QR & NFC Product Terms
How ordering physical table products works: design proof, prices, delivery, faulty items, cancellations and what happens to your QR and NFC codes.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. These terms
These terms apply when you order physical products — QR table stands, metal cards, stickers, wooden blocks and NFC tags — from the QR & NFC order page in your Cloche panel. The seller is Aho Media Solutions & Consultancy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14776234, registered office: Office 4, 02 Clockwise, London N22 7DE, United Kingdom, email: hello@clochemenu.com, phone: +44 7400 734583). Our Terms of Service also apply; where they differ, these terms govern your product order.
Products are sold to businesses for use in their venue. Each item is made to order for you: it carries your logo, your table's name and a QR code (and NFC tag, if chosen) linked to that table.
2. Your order and the design proof
- Your order is placed when you complete payment at checkout. We confirm it by email.
- Within 2 working days we email you a design proof showing your logo, the table names and the layout. Production only starts once you approve it.
- Please check the proof carefully: logo, spelling of table names and the number of items. You can ask for changes free of charge until you approve it.
- If a table name or logo needs to change after approval, we can reprint at the price of those items.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the order page per item, by quantity, with any NFC add-on and the delivery charge. They exclude VAT; VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
- Payment is taken in full by card at checkout, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- We may change prices for future orders; the price of an order you have already placed won't change.
4. Production and delivery
- Products are made by our production partners in the UK. Making and delivery usually take 2–3 weeks from your proof approval; delivery dates are estimates, and we'll tell you if we expect a delay.
- We deliver to the address you give at checkout, within the United Kingdom. You can follow the status and tracking number on the QR & NFC order page.
- Please check the parcel when it arrives. Responsibility for the products passes to you on delivery.
5. Damaged, faulty or wrong items
- If anything arrives damaged, faulty, or different from the proof you approved — including a QR code or NFC tag that doesn't open your menu — email hello@clochemenu.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo.
- We will replace those items free of charge, or refund them if a replacement isn't possible. You don't need to send the faulty items back unless we ask.
- This doesn't cover normal wear, misuse, or mistakes in details you approved on the proof.
6. Cancellation and returns
- You can cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve the design proof.
- Once you approve the proof, production starts and the products are personalised for your venue, so they can't be cancelled or returned for a change of mind.
- Refunds are made to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 working days.
7. Your QR and NFC codes
- Each QR code and NFC tag opens your table's permanent Cloche address. It shows your current menu, so updating prices or dishes never means reprinting.
- The codes work while your Cloche subscription is active (and for the 14 days your menu stays online after it ends). If you renew later, the same products work again.
- If you delete a table in your panel, its code stops working; renaming a table keeps the code but the printed name won't change.
8. Liability
Our total liability for a product order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
